I’m going to take a break from writing about technology for just one post and focus a little bit about me, I feel like I haven’t given enough background for new readers as to who I am, so I’m going to talk a bit about another big part of my life besides technology: music.

You probably don’t know but I’m in a band! Well, to be precise I’m in 3 bands, two I’ve just joined and the other one my best friend and I have been doing for about 2 months now. I play guitar, bass ukulele and sing. Multitalented! I wish.

Now – this is going to sound a bit soppy and emo, but both Liam and I have been going through some pretty emotional stuff recently (yes, to do with girls, we’re teenagers just let us), something which is REALLY good for an Acoustic band, which we are. So the other night Liam was stopping over mine and we were going through a few songs that we’d wrote, but none of them were good enough to record. I went to the garage to get some food, made some garlic bread and then bam! The garlic bread made us have a epiphany. In twenty minutes, we had a song done and recorded. Not bad. Eh?

So with a song recorded we’re now getting on track to record the rest of our EP, which we have some pretty good material to go onto it. But what sort of band would we be if we didn’t have a MySpace?! Not a very good one, for sure, so the band MySpace is www.myspace.com/fingertipheroes. There’s only one song on it at the moment, but there will be more once I get back from Essex.

Add us as friends, comment our music either on there or on here. I’m also going to keep updating you lot with the status of the band.

As for the other two bands, they’re still concept, really. But I will get them going. Once I get them going I might start thinking about starting a record label to sign them onto. Can’t be too hard can it?
